Artwork Requirements:
Download the product template, insert your artwork, and re-upload the file.
Acceptable file types: PDF (preferred), AI, EPS, PSD, TIF, JPG, PNG, INDD
Note: Your template file must have all images embedded, layers & transparencies flattened, template lines removed, and saved as 1 page at the highest or maximum quality.
When Creating Your Artwork:
- CMYK color mode
- Use Pantone® Color Bridge® colors whenever possible
- Design at a 1:10 ratio (products smaller than 16” x 16” will be designed at a 1:1 ratio)
- Keep important elements within the gray image safety line
- Minimum resolution of 360 dpi on polyester fabrics
- Minimum resolution of 800 dpi on vinyl & rigid materials
- Vector art preferred
- Convert all fonts to outlines
- Embed all images and links
- Design to bleed line
- Double-check your grammar and spelling

Vinyl Options
Indoor
4th of July banners are for a wide range of settings, including indoor and outdoor locations. Businesses can place them inside their establishment or in front of their building and homes can set them up in rooms and on their front porch. No matter where you plan to install the independence banners, we have vinyl materials to suit your purpose. If you are placing banners indoors, such as hanging them from a ceiling or mounting them to a wall, then there are two indoor vinyl materials to select from. The Indoor Vinyl and Indoor Opaque Vinyl materials are weather-resistant and have UV protection, even though they are for inside setups. This is so the material is strong enough to use year after year rather than one time. The difference between the materials is that Indoor Vinyl has a matte feel and the Indoor Opaque Vinyl has a sleeker satin feel.
Outdoor
If, on the other hand, you would like to set up the 4th of July banners outdoors, such as on a banner post or on a building’s exterior, then there are three outdoor vinyl options to choose from. It is important to consider what weather the July 4th sale banner will need to withstand and how long it will be outdoors. For windy locations, there is the Mesh Vinyl material, which is perforated to allow wind to pass through the material. This will leave your print looking great after multiple uses. The other two options are the 18oz and 23oz Opaque Vinyl. These materials are weather-resistant, and UV protected so that they last a long time, but the 23oz version is for heavier duty than the 18oz option, which is for light outdoor use in calm weather.
Finishing Options
After thinking about where the 4th of July banners will be set up, consider how to install the banners. There are many ways to set up a banner and the finishing options helps you assemble the banner with or without hardware:
Grommets: Get grommets in the four corners of the independence banner or on every 1.5ft of material if the banner is long. This is for hanging the banner from a ceiling or on a post with bungee cords.
Ultra-Strong Adhesive Tabs: Like grommets but less noticeable, you can get adhesive tabs in the four corners or around the banner perimeter. This option is also for hanging the banner with bungee cords.
Pole Pockets: Install pole pockets on the top or the top and bottom of the July 4th sale banner. This option is for setting the banner up with pole sets, which are common on banner frames and hardware.
Hemmed Sides: All the sides can he hemmed to prevent the edges from ripping or tearing in the weather or from heavy duty use. This finishing is great for installing the banner without hardware.
Cut Sides: All the sides are cut to create a slim, simple finish for placing the 4th of July banner on a canvas, in a frame, or anywhere without hardware.
