When Creating Your Artwork:
- CMYK color mode
- Use Pantone® Color Bridge® colors whenever possible
- Design at a 1:10 ratio (products smaller than 16” x 16” will be designed at a 1:1 ratio)
- Keep important elements within the gray image safety line
- Minimum resolution of 360 dpi on polyester fabrics
- Minimum resolution of 800 dpi on vinyl & rigid materials
- Vector art preferred
- Convert all fonts to outlines
- Embed all images and links
- Design to bleed line
- Double-check your grammar and spelling

Brazil Flag Details
Let all your friends and neighbors see how proud you are of your country or heritage by displaying a Brazil flag for sale. These Brazilian flags were designed for indoor and outdoor settings due to the outdoor-tested material and print. The knitted polyester fabric prevents the fabric from tearing and fraying when exposed to outdoor weather. The dye sublimation print ingrains the ink into the fabric rather than on top of it to keep the striking colors from scratching or peeling off. We print the colorful design on one side of the flag and the reverse image bleeds through to the other side, allowing the graphics to be visible from all directions. Add on either a handheld flagpole or a pole that’s mounted onto a wall to your order. The hardware is easily setup with the flag due to the grommet finishing on the side. Brazilian Flag History
The flag of Brazil was originally an imperial flag that featured the imperial coat of arms on a diamond shape with a green background. When Brazil became a republic in 1889, a flag was devised based of the United States flag, but with the colors from the previous Imperial flag. This Brazil flag, however, was short lived because it was vetoed for something more unique. Marshal Deodoro da Fonseca, the provisional president of Brazil, suggested a flag that resembled the original Imperial flag more. He wanted it to represent the country’s switch from a monarchy to a republic. A new design was created with the globe symbol replacing the imperial coat of arms but keeping the rhombus shape and green background of the original. This new flag officially became the national flag on November 19, 1889. The globe design has been modified three times to include additional stars to represent new states of Brazil. The most recent change to the stars in the globe was in 1992.
Brazil Flag Meaning and Colors
Green: This color came from the Imperial flag. Green stood for the royal house of Bragança, which Dom Pedro was part of. Green in the Brazilian flag is also connected with the land of Brazil.
Yellow Diamond: This was another color taken from the Imperial flag. Yellow was a color associated with the house of Habsburg, which Dom Pedro’s wife was a part of. The golden yellow of Brazil’s flag also reflects the country’s minerals, especially its gold.
Blue Globe: The globe in the middle replaced the Imperial coat of arms. The blue color comes from Portugal’s coat of arms because Brazil has Portuguese origins. The stars inside the globe represent Brazil’s 26 states and an extra star for its federal district. The color and position of the stars reflect the sky of Rio de Janiero on November 15, 1889.
Motto: White is used for the band because its another color from the Portuguese coat of arms. The words are, “Ordem e progresso”, which means “Order and progress”, which comes from a Auguste Comte motto of positivism, a philosophical theory.
