Choose Your Backdrop Material
Unlike cheap materials offered by some competitors, we offer long-lasting custom backdrops for repeated display. Our banners are available in either vinyl or polyester materials. Both backdrop printing options result in striking, eye-catching graphics that will not fade or peel. But how do you know which material to choose?
Vinyl
This option is the cheaper of the two and is the best choice for businesses on a small budget. It can be used for indoor and certain outdoor settings because direct sunlight will not fade the UV printing process. The material is also water-resistant so elements will not damage the print or fray the material. There are two types of vinyl we offer:
- 13oz Indoor Vinyl: Go with this option if you are working with a tight budget as it is our most economical material. The anti-curl and tear-resistance makes it ideal for short and long-term indoor use.
- 13oz Indoor Opaque Vinyl: This is the perfect choice if you want both sides of the logo backdrop to showcase your design as we offer double-sided printing. The material is 100% opaque with a minimized glare and a smooth, satin finish.
Fabric
Our fabric materials are the premium options for long-term indoor and outdoor use. The dye sublimation print is infused directly into the fabric to prevent it from scratching or peeling off when exposed to the elements. These backdrop banners are also more lightweight and machine-washable, making them the more convenient selection. We have two polyester fabrics to choose from:
- Display Polyester: This option is great if you plan on taking photos with the backdrop. That is because of the non-glare material. This is also our most economical fabric but is still flame-retardant and wrinkle resistant.
- Premium Opaque Polyester: Get the best quality custom backdrop banner with this option. The heavyweight knitted material is perfect for indoor and outdoor display and features wrinkle-resistant, non-glare, and flame-retardant functionality.

What is the turnaround time?
The standard time to print your custom backdrops is 3 business days. We have rush production times if you need your order by a certain date. We also have expedited shipping available. View the “Estimate Delivery” tool to see what shipping options are available for you.
How are the backdrop banners printed?
The backdrop printing technique depends on which material you choose. Our vinyl materials are digitally printed with UV inks that will not fade when exposed to direct sunlight. The polyester fabric is printed using a dye sublimation process where the ink is ingrained into the fabric to prevent it from peeling off. This results in long-lasting, machine-washable logo backdrops.
Can I buy just the hardware or just a print?
Yes! All Vispronet backdrop banners have the option of ordering just the hardware or just the print. Most of the products have an “Order Type” question in the configurator where you can select either “Prints and Hardware”, “Prints Only”, or “Hardware Only”. The Step and Repeat Banner and the Adjustable Banner Stand, on the other hand, have an option for adding hardware to your order or not. If you don’t want the frame, choose the “No Stand” option. The expanding backdrop stand can be ordered by itself in a separate product page.
Are carry bags included for travel?
Yes, all orders come with a free carry bag or tube for transporting and storing your custom backdrop with stand. The Step and Repeat Banner and Adjustable Banner Stand, however, have a free bag come with 4ft x 4ft – 4ft x 8ft sizes. If you would like a carry bag with your larger banner hardware, add an optional bag to your order in the configurator.
