Artwork Requirements:
Download the product template, insert your artwork, and re-upload the file.
Acceptable file types: PDF (preferred), AI, EPS, PSD, TIF, JPG, PNG, INDD
Note: Your template file must have all images embedded, layers & transparencies flattened, template lines removed, and saved as 1 page at the highest or maximum quality.
When Creating Your Artwork:
- CMYK color mode
- Use Pantone® Color Bridge® colors whenever possible
- Design at a 1:10 ratio (products smaller than 16” x 16” will be designed at a 1:1 ratio)
- Keep important elements within the gray image safety line
- Minimum resolution of 360 dpi on polyester fabrics
- Minimum resolution of 800 dpi on vinyl & rigid materials

We offer three different options for you to create your outdoor vinyl banners. All design submissions are checked by our pre-press team for any artwork errors or issues. We will email you a free digital proof of your design for your approval before we begin producing your order.
Design Online: Customize your banner online, in real time using our online design tool. Our tool allows you to upload artwork and logo files directly from your computer and makes it easy to add text, clip art, background designs, and more.
Upload Artwork: To design using this method you must download the product artwork template, add your artwork using design software, and reupload the completed template to your account, before or after checking out. To download the artwork template, click the “Download Template” link located above.
Free Design Services: Let one of our graphic designers craft your banner template free of charge by filling out a form with any ideas or specifications you may have. We will provide you with a free artwork proof to review before we begin printing your outdoor vinyl signs.

Choose Your Right Material For Your Application
We offer our banners with two vinyl material options: 18oz and 23oz. Both vinyl options have a satin finish for a professional gloss that is easy to spot from a distance. Unlike the cheap outdoor banners offered by some competitors, our materials are also 100% opaque, making your design more vibrant and easier to see from multiple directions.
- 18oz vinyl is best for short to medium term outdoor use or in areas with low wind.
- 23oz vinyl is better fortified for long term outdoor display in poor weather conditions.
Finishing Options
How will you install your custom outdoor banners? We offer an array of different finishing options so you can find the exact one needed for your application. Finish your banners with grommets, pockets, all sides hemmed, or all sides cut. Each finishing option is provided for no extra cost to you.
Grommets: Will you be hanging your banner signs from the ceiling, across a wall, or on a post? If so, get your banners with grommets, either in the four corners or on every 1.5ft of vinyl. This finishing is compatible with bungee cords and hanging rope.
Pole Pockets: Are you using a banner frame to set up your banner? Many banner stands include pole sets for connecting the banner to the frame. If this is the case, add pole pockets on either the top or the top and the bottom of the banner. The poles slide through the opening of the pockets.
Hemmed Sides: You may add hemmed sides to grommets or get them alone. Hemmed sides are perfect for heavy duty outdoor displays because they prevent the edges from ripping. This is a great option if you are not using hardware, such as tacking the large outdoor banners to a wall.
Cut Sides: You may add the classic cut sides finishing to one of the previous options or get them by themselves. This is another choice if you are not using hardware to set up your banners or if you are using clips.

Do the finishing options cost extra?
No, the finishing options do not cost extra. Choose from multiple finishing options including grommets, pole sleeves, cut sides, and hemmed sides.
How are these banners printed?
We digitally print our outside banners with UV-resistant inks for vibrant, full-color graphics that are fade-resistant and safe for long term outdoor sun exposure.
Do you offer double-sided banners?
Yes, we do offer double-sided printing. You can use the same design or a different design on each side of the banner. When you are configuring your outdoor banners, be sure to select “Double-Sided” for this double-sided feature.
