Nebraska State Flag Details
Let your state pride fly with a Nebraska flag for sale. Our flags can withstand both indoor and outdoor elements due to the long-lasting print and material used. We print the design on one side of the fabric and the reverse image bleeds to the other side, allowing the graphics to be visible from all directions without costing extra. We also use a high-quality dye sublimation technique, which infuses the ink directly into the fabric to prevent it from scratching or peeling off. Our flags are made from an outdoor-tested polyester fabric that is lightweight and tear-resistant, so wind, rain, and other weather conditions don’t ruin the material. Properly setup your flag on a flagpole with the grommet finishing on the side. If you need a flagpole to assemble your Nebraskan flag, add on either a handheld or pole-mounted kit to your order. The handheld option is for carrying the flag while the wall-mounted pole set secures the flag to a flat surface. Get the perfect addition to a home or building front with these state of Nebraska flags.

Nebraska Flag History
The Nebraska state flag includes the state seal. The seal was designed in 1867 and appeared on unofficial state flags before one was adopted in 1925. It was the last of the then-48 states to have a state flag. Rather than using all the colors of the seal, the flag incorporates silver and yellow colors on the blue background. While the flag was adopted in 1925, it was not made official by legislature until 1963. While there have been suggestions for changing the seal, the NE flag has remained unaltered since it was first used on New Year’s Day in 1926 and when it was finally officiated in 1963.
Flag of Nebraska Meaning
State Seal: The water on the state seal of the Nebraska flag represents the Missouri River with a steamboat sailing on the water. The mountain landscape in the background refers to the Rocky Mountains, which is west of Nebraska. The seal design also includes a blacksmith with his tools, a cabin, and a railroad traveling to the mountains.
State Motto: Above the seal design on the Nebraska state flag is the state motto, “Equality Before Law”, which originally referred to a settler’s rights to land but also stood for the abolition of slavery when the seal was created in 1867.
