Team Banners Vinyl Options

Indoor

Custom athletic banners are set up in a variety of locations. Indoor and outdoor settings require different vinyl materials. If you plan on placing the banner indoors, we have two vinyl options. The Indoor Vinyl and the Indoor Opaque Vinyl are both equally long-lasting because of their UV-protection and weather-resistance. The Indoor Vinyl, however, has a matte finish while the Indoor Opaque Vinyl has a smoother satin feel. Both types of vinyl look great indoors.

Outdoor

If you are planning on displaying the banner flags outdoors, there are three different vinyl options. One is a Mesh Vinyl, which is the perfect choice for windy weather conditions. The perforated mesh material is durable enough to stand up against the wind for a long time. There are also two Opaque Vinyl options. Both vinyl materials are weather-resistant for outdoor use, but the 23oz version is stronger than the 18oz option. If you plan on using your sports team banners long-term in unpredictable weather, we recommend the 23oz vinyl.

Finishing Options

Team banners are set up in a variety of ways. Choose from several finishing options to properly display the banner:

Grommets: Add grommets in all four corners of the banner or, if the banner is long, every 1.5ft. This finishing is ideal for hanging the team sports banners from the ceiling or mounting on outdoor posts.

Ultra-Strong Adhesive Tabs: Apply adhesive tabs to the four corners or across the perimeter of the banner. This option is also for hanging the banner with bungee cords.

Pole Pockets: Get a pole pocket on the top of the banner and/or the bottom. This option is for setting the little league banners up with a pole set.

Hemmed Sides: Get all the sides hemmed so that the edges do not rip or tear. Choose this option if you are not using hardware to display your team spirit banner, such as mounting it to a wall.

Cut Sides: For a simpler finishing, all the sides can be cut. This is the standard selection for placing the banners in frames or on canvases.
