We offer our custom pennant banners with multiple material options so can choose the best material for your application. Our durable custom pennants are made specially for indoor or outdoor use and are guaranteed to hold their value for long-term display.
Indoor & Opaque Vinyl
Our vinyl options include our 13oz Indoor Vinyl and 13oz Indoor Opaque Vinyl. Both vinyl pennant flag banner options are digitally printed with UV-resistant inks for a full-color custom pennant banner that won’t fade if displayed in direct sunlight. Both flag string options are safe for short-term outdoor display and long-term indoor display. The difference between the two vinyl materials is the 13oz Indoor Opaque vinyl is 100% opaque, with no light shining through from either side of the custom pennant flags.
Flag Polyester Pennant Flags
Our custom pennant flags are also available in our Outdoor Flag Polyester. This polyester is a tear-resistant fabric with excellent thru-print. We print our custom flags and feather flags using this material. All fabric printing is performed using dye sublimation, a cutting-edge printing technique that infuses the ink directly into the string banner's fibers, creating a brilliant, full-color finish that is unmatched when compared to inferior printing technology. Printing Specs
What is the printing process?
The vinyl material options are digitally printed with UV-resistant inks for full-color graphics that won’t scratch or fade, even when exposed to direct sunlight. The outdoor flag polyester material option is printed using dye sublimation for vibrant graphics that are fade resistant.
Can I get a different design printed on each flag?
Yes, each string of flags can have up to 10 alternating designs depending on the strand length. Find the “Layout” section when configuring your product, located above. There, you can see the different pattern options to choose from.
Can these be printed double-sided?
Yes. If you would like double-sided printing, you must choose the 13oz indoor opaque vinyl material. This material is 100% opaque, allowing you to feature different designs printed on both sides of the pennant flag banner.
Material Specs
What are the flags made from?
We offer 2 vinyl material options and 1 polyester fabric option. The 13oz indoor vinyl is the most economical option. The 13oz indoor opaque vinyl is offered with double-sided printing. The outdoor flag polyester material is lightweight, printed on one side, and the ink is bled through to create a reverse image on the back of the flag.
Are these banners weather resistant?
Yes, these outdoor pennant flags are weather-resistant. The vinyl material options are water-resistant and printed using UV-resistant inks so they can safely be displayed outdoors. The outdoor flag polyester material is the same material we make our custom flags from and is safe for long term outdoor display.
How do I clean my pennant string flags?
Taking care of the string banners is encouraged to keep them in pristine condition. To clean, simply wipe the flags down with a sponge and warm, soapy water. Avoid using any harsh chemicals or soaps as these may damage the finish of the flags. Polyester string flags can be cleaned in a washing machine on a delicate cycle. Hang dry for best results.
