Design Graduation Banners Online

We have three options for personalizing your grad banner template to suit different design preferences and levels of expertise:

Design Online: Upload school logos, mascots, class of 2021, photos onto your template using our design tool. Without leaving our site, you can completely customize your banner by adding text, clipart, and background colors.

Upload Artwork Template: Craft your banner template on a software program by downloading the template link. This will allow you to personalize the template using a design program. When you are finished customizing, reupload the finished template back to us for printing.

Free Design Services: Are you having trouble figuring out what to add to your personalized graduation banners or how to design the template? Let us know and we will have our graphic designers create your graphic based on your own specifications. You will get an artwork proof to review before we print the designs.

Vinyl Options

Indoor

If the graduation ceremony is being held indoors, such as in an auditorium, you can create graduation banners for placing on the stage. We offer two indoor vinyl materials: Indoor Vinyl and Indoor Opaque Vinyl. Both materials are durable due to their weather-resistance and UV-protection, but they differ in their finishing. Indoor Vinyl has a textured matte finish while the Indoor Opaque Vinyl has a glossier satin finish. Each material is perfect for reuse, but we recommend using the Indoor Vinyl if the high school graduation banners will serve as the backdrop for photos and using the Indoor Opaque Vinyl if the banners will be for show.

Outdoor

Many graduation ceremonies take place outdoors, as well. If this is the case and you need an outdoor vinyl banner, we offer three outdoor material options for our graduation banners. An important thing to consider before selecting your material is what kind of weather the grad banner will need to withstand and for how long. Our Mesh Vinyl option is perfect if the graduation ceremony banner will be exposed to a lot of wind. The material is perforated, which allows the wind to pass through the banner and prevents the wind from ruining the print. Our other two graduation yard banners materials are 18oz and 23oz Opaque Vinyl. These options are both weather-resistant and UV protected, but the 23oz version is for heavier duty use compared to the 18oz vinyl, which we recommend for lighter outdoor setups.

Finishing Options

Another important factor to think about when ordering your graduation banners is how you will put them up. Some customers might prefer to place them on the stage with the students, while others may want them at the event entrance:

Grommets: If you are planning on hanging your graduation poster banners, whether from the ceiling, the wall, or on a post, add grommets either in the four corners or on every 1.5ft of material. Grommets are paired with bungee cords for installation.

Ultra-Strong Adhesive Tabs: Adhesive tabs work the same way as grommets in that they are for hanging the banner with bungee cords. Choose between adding adhesive tabs to the four corners of the banner, or, if it is long, around the perimeter.

Pole Pockets: If you are using a stand to setup your graduation yard banners, add pole pockets as your finishing. Banner frames include pole sets, which insert into the opening of the pocket for quick assembly. Get pockets on the top or the top and bottom of the banner.

Hemmed Sides: Add hemmed sides to one of the previous finishing options or get them by themselves. Having the sides hemmed prevents the edges from wearing and tearing, making them the best graduation banners for heavy-duty and long-term use.

Cut Sides: You may also get the sides of your graduation banners cut, which makes them thinner and easier to pair with a frame or a canvas. They are also great for light indoor and outdoor displays. Add cut sides to one of the previous options or simply get them alone.
