Vinyl Options

Indoor

If your party is being held inside, such as in your home or at a special event venue, we have several indoor vinyl materials to choose from. Our party banners come in Indoor Vinyl and Indoor Opaque Vinyl. Both materials are made for indoor setup but are durable due to their UV protection and weather resistance. This means that you can keep your banner up for a long period or store it and reuse it every year. The difference between the materials is that the Indoor Vinyl has a matte finish while the Indoor Opaque Vinyl has a glossier satin feel. We recommend getting the Indoor Vinyl is if you plan on taking a lot of pictures with the custom party signs, because the matte material makes it easier to photograph.

Outdoor

Party banners are also commonly set up outdoors, such as in the front lawn of a home or building. If you want to install your banner outdoors, it is important to think about the kind of weather it will have to endure and for how long. Knowing this will help you in deciding which vinyl material to choose. We have three vinyl options that are perfect for outdoor weather. If you are attaching your banner to a fence or a post and it will need to withstand the wind pushing against it, we recommend the Mesh Vinyl. This vinyl is perforated so that the wind pushes through the banner rather than up against it, resulting in a longer print life. We also offer 18oz or 23oz Opaque Vinyl. Both materials are weather-resistant and UV-protected, but the 23oz version is for heavier duty setups compared to the 18oz option. If your custom party banners will need to resist changing weather or will be outdoors for a long time, we recommend the 23oz vinyl.

Finishing Options

When you are ordering your party banners, it is important to consider how you will be setting them up. Will you be using hardware and, if so, what kind? This will help you determine the finishing that you need for your banner decorations:

Grommets: If you are placing your banner on a pole set or are hanging it from the ceiling or across a wall, then choose the grommet finishing. You can add grommets to the four corners of the banner or on every 1.5ft of material if it is particularly long.

Ultra-Strong Adhesive Tabs: These adhesive tabs work the same way as grommets. They are for hanging the banner with bungee cords from the ceiling, wall, or on a post. You also have the option of getting them in the four corners or around the perimeter.

Pole Pockets: This finishing is for using the custom party signs with a stand. Banner stands include pole sets for connecting the banner to the frame. Depending on how many sets the stand has, you can include pole pockets on the top or on the top and the bottom.

Hemmed Sides: Having the sides hemmed can be an addition to the previous options or can be a finishing option on its own. Hemmed sides are perfect for heavy-duty or long-term use because they are resistant to tearing, making them perfect for indoors and outdoors.

Cut Sides: Like the hemmed option, having the sides cut can be an additional finishing or its own option. Having the sides cut provides thin edges that are perfect for pairing the party banners with a frame or a canvas or for light indoor and outdoor use.
