What are teardrop flags commonly for?

What material are the flags?

Our teardrop flags are outdoor flag polyester or mesh polyester. These materials have great tear-resistance, making them ideal for withstanding different weather conditions.

What’s the difference between the two polyester materials?

The outdoor flag polyester is a knitted material for outdoor use. The more durable mesh polyester material is knitted in a way that stands up to windy and sandy areas. This is because particles go through the material instead of up against it.

What is the difference between single sided and double sided teardrop flags?

For the single reverse option, we print the graphic on one side and the reverse image bleeds through to the other side. The double-sided option has the correct image format on both sides with a liner sewn in between the layers.

What is the difference between the base options?

If you are staking your flag into the dirt or grass, choose the ground base to push into the soil. If you are placing your teardrop banner flags on a flat surface, such as pavement or indoor floors, the cross base supports the flag.

Can I just buy the flag without the hardware or vice versa?

Yes. If you just want the flag print, you can select “No Pole Set” while ordering your product. You can also select “No Case” and “No Base”. If, on the other hand, you just want the hardware, we offer <a href="/blade-teardrop-rectangular-pole-set">the pole set</a> as a separate product.

How do I clean my teardrop banners?

These teardrop flags are washable, but it is important to wash them on a delicate cycle with soft detergent. Do not use bleach. We recommend washing the flag by itself rather than with other fabrics. When you are done washing the flag, hang it out to dry outdoors.

Advertise your business or a sale at a trade show or in front of your shop with custom teardrop flags. These advertising banners are for indoor and outdoor use, but are most commonly set up outdoors. They are made from durable outdoor flag polyester, which is a tear-resistant material that can withstand different weather conditions. These flags are also easy to assemble due to the lightweight hardware that does not require tools. The print of the teardrop banner flags is also weather-resistant due to the dye sublimation printing process. Single-Reverse vs Double-sided Printing

For our single-reverse flags, we print the graphic on one side of the teardrop banner and the ink bleeds through to the other side. By doing this, the reverse image appears on the back side of the flag so that the message is seen on both the front and back. This is the most popular, budget-friendly printing method.

When ordering double-sided teardop flags, we print the design on two separate pieces of polyester and sew them together. We place a liner in between the layers so that the design of one side is not visible on the other. This means that you can get two unique prints on each side. This option also shows the image correctly on both sides rather than having the reverse on one side. We recommend this for designs with a lot of text.

Design Teardrop Flags Online

We provide three different ways for customers to design their teardrop flags online. Each method suits difference preferences and graphic design experience. Regardless of which method you choose, we will send you a pre-production proof for your approval before we produce your order.

Design Online: Create your artwork from scratch or insert your existing files and logo onto the teardrop flag templates using our online design tool. With this option, you can choose from several fonts, backgrounds, clip art, and more. Our design tool lets you design your teardrop flags online, in real-time without leaving our website.

Upload Artwork Template: We also provided downloadable templates for you to insert your artwork onto using your own graphic design software. When you’ve finished customizing the template file, simply reupload the finished file to our website, before or after placing your order. We recommend this option for those familiar with graphic design, and for companies that have their own in-house graphic designers.

Free Design Services: If you’re new to the web-to-print experience, we provide free design services where we will customize the teardrop flag template file for you. We’ll use any logos, images, text, colors, and notes that you provide to us after selecting this option.
