Foam board signs are popular customizable displays made from dent and warp-resistant polystyrene foam core that is finished with a paper or water-proof surface. Base Options for Foam Board Signs

There are three types of bases that can be selected for this foam board. There is a water base made from PVC material. This sturdy floor sign stand includes fold out feet for easy storage and is compatible with custom foam board signs 18in or larger.

We also have Mount Sign Holders in three different sizes in either durable steel or lightweight cardboard materials. These mounts are in a triangle shape and screw together with the included wing nuts and bolts. They are compatible with our 1/2in thick foam board.

When will I receive my foam board signs?

Our average turnaround time is 3 business days. Standard production is required for poster board printing. Shipping can be calculated at checkout. Do you offer double-sided foam board printing?

Yes, we offer single and double-sided options. Single-sided means that the poster board will only be printed on one side. Double-sided printing means that graphics will be printed on both sides of the foam core signs. This leaves room for using the same image or two different images on each side.

Do you offer other foam board shapes aside from rectangle?

For the time being we mainly offer rectangular shapes. You can also get a square shape if you make the width and height the same measurement. For instance, a 12in x 12in sign would be a square, but a 12in x 24in sign would be rectangular.

Can I use foam core signs outside? Are they water-resistant?

Our foam board signs are made to be dent and warp-resistant, so they are made from stronger material than regular store-bought foam board. The economy version shouldn’t be displayed outside for a long period of time. It should also be brought inside if the weather is bad. The premium material is water-resistant, so it can stand more rain than the economy version.

What material are the foam boards made of?

The foam signs are made from either economy or premium foamboard. Both versions are dent and warp-resistant so that they won’t bend easily. The premium option, however, is made from water-resistant foam board, allowing you to use it outdoors for a longer period. We recommend the economy version for shorter term use.

What’s the smallest and largest foam core sign sizes available?

We offer custom foam board signs sizes. The width can be anywhere between 4in and 48in. The height can be between 4in and 58in. This means that the smallest size we offer is 4in x 4in and the largest size is 58in x 48in. You can also choose between 3/16” and 1/2" thicknesses.

How do you print on the poster board?

We directly print the graphics on the foam board. This means that the print will feel like it’s a part of the material rather than like it was placed on top of it. This leaves a smooth finish. This kind of foam board printing also means that the print won’t peel off after being set up for a long time.

How is the price determined for the foam core signs?

As stated before, the number of colors you use in your design has no effect on the price. We use full CMYK color printing, which means that whether you use 2 or 20 colors, the price remains the same. Your price is instead determined on the foam board thickness you choose, how large your sign is, and whether you want single-sided or double-print foam board poster printing. If you order hardware with your print, then the price of the water base or mount is added to the order.

What are foam board signs commonly used for?

These foam core displays are often used to advertise sales or promote brand awareness. They are set up inside and outside of shops, in building entrances, by tradeshow booths, etc. Foam core signs can include slogans, logos, small boxes of text with information, pictures, and anything else you want to include.

How should I store the custom foam board signs?

Make sure you store your display in an area where it won’t bend. Our foam board material is dent-resistant, but if it does crease, it won’t be able to be fixed. The printed board should also be kept in a cool and dry place, like a closet, a basement, or an attic.

How should I clean the foam signs?

In order to remove dust from the custom foam signs, use a dry, non-textured cloth and wipe it across the surface. This can be done regularly to keep the foam board and print in pristine condition.
